-

Some 28 Kuwaiti diplomats were sworn in Wednesday in a ceremony presided over by Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister congratulated the new diplomatic staff on successfully completing a Sheikh Saud Al-Nasser AlSabah Diplomatic Institute-organized training program, saying he was confident that they would live up to their responsibilities.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled advised the diplomats, both men and women, to keep their country’s best interests at heart and remain highly vigilant at a time where the international political scene is mired in instability.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah conveyed his “heartiest congratulations” to the new diplomats, urging them to remain committed and diligent as they settle into their new positions.

Abdulaziz Al-Sharekh, the Director General of the Sheikh Saud Al-Nasser Diplomatic Institute, commended the diplomatic contingent on their outstanding efforts during the program.

He also thanked the Kuwaiti foreign minister for his profound contributions to the success of the dimplomatic institute.

The swearing-in ceremony brought together a number of senior Kuwaiti foreign ministry officials. (KUNA)
