Kirk Alert warns against ‘Frenemies’

-

Florida-based, Jamaica-born recording artiste Kirk Alert has released the visuals for ‘Frenemies’, directed by Lagikz Supreme from Lagikz VisualZ.

The song, produced by Kisko Hype of Studio 91 Records from Brooklyn, New York, was shot in the community of Dunkirk in Kingston 16, Jamaica, and addresses the issue of friends who are really enemies.

The artiste says that he has been the victim of friends who disguise themselves as enemies and wants to warn others to be careful.

“Sometimes when I watch the news and I see friends and loved ones killing each other, it grieves my heart. I want people to be on the lookout for unscrupulous individuals. There are a lot of wolves in sheep’s clothing out there,” said Kirk Alert.

Kirk Alert is known for singles such as Treat Her Right, produced by Kisko Hype of Studio 91 Records and Gyal A Bubble, produced by Yung Merciinary Music.

However, it was his single Each and Every Day, produced by Shevon ‘Diego’ Parchment on the ‘Di Love Zone’ rhythm, that created a much-needed impact in 2014.

“Most of my singles have social commentary, but it’s delivered predominately in dancehall. I want to be remembered for timeless music, so it is important to still have a positive message in my songs,” added Kirk Alert.

The artiste is currently promoting in Florida but is planning a series of media runs in the Caribbean, starting with Jamaica in early 2019.
