Yanni Cassanova compliments women with new single

Reggae-dancehall artiste Yanni Cassanova is paying respect to independent women through the single Nostra Girl, released earlier this month.

The entertainer said much thought and time were placed into each verse of the track as he aims to compliment the opposite sex.

“The lyrics are based on my admiration for the independent women who don’t need a man to validate them. It is always sexy to see a woman who can manage on her own even though her partner is willing to play his part. I am therefore applauding them on this single, and I hope it will motivate them to continuously keep their head up,” he said.

Hailing from Clarendon, Jamaica, Yanni made his entry into the entertainment industry a few years ago.

He has performed in several Caribbean islands and is working with his management team, Davila Sagini, Inc on several projects, including the Yanni Rhythm.

“We are putting in a lot of work, and so far, the results are good. As we continue to work hard, we anticipate even greater results. I am aware that the industry is challenging, but my love for music prevents me from throwing in the towel,” he said.

Yanni said his songs are hardhitting and edgy and can be easily related to by all ages.

“I make music that will last and will be fresh in the minds of people [for] years to come. I am not about the one-week hype, and I want my songs to be able to play for any audience, so I am careful about what I write,” he said.
