THE POLICE have intensified their search for a group of men who allegedly shot and killed two residents in Annotto Bay, St Mary, Saturday night.

Saturday night’s attack increased the number of killings in the parish to four since Thursday.

The latest incident left two men dead from a drive-by shooting around 9 p.m. at Top Hill in Annotto Bay.

Dead are 21-year-old Akeem Wilson and 22-yearold Rayon Morrison. Both men were unemployed.

According to a police report, Wilson and Morrison were standing at separate locations in Annotto Bay when a vehicle with heavily armed men opened fire hitting Wilson.

The car reportedly sped off and, shortly after, Morrison, who was standing near a tyre shop, was sprayed with bullets.

The two were rushed to hospital, but were pronounced dead on arrival.

Saturday night’s double murder follows the shooting death of a 59-year-old businessman, Monton Hamilton on Thursday night. He was shot and killed by unknown assailants at his home at Dover in the parish. Hamilton’s wife was also shot and robbed.

And, on Friday, a man known only as ‘Blacks’ from Mall Road in Kingston was shot and killed at Cane Lane in Annotto Bay.

St Mary has recorded 30 murders since the start of the year.
