Manchester KO finals tomorrow

Former champions Hill Stars and Mile Gully will contest the finals of the MFA/Brumalia House Knockout Competition tomorrow at the Kirkvine Sports Club.

Kick-off time will be 3 p.m. Extra time and, if necessary, penalty kicks will be employed if the contest is not settled within regulation time.

Hill Stars are multiple champions while Mile Gully will be looking to earn their first knockout title, although they have been to the final several times, including losing to Hill Stars.

However, Mile Gully’s place in the final is somewhat of a resurgence for the team, having struggled in recent years in the Major League. They reached this year’s final after knocking off defending champions Ricam Academy on penalty kicks in the semi-finals.

Hill Stars needed extra time to defeat Los Perfectors 4-3 in their semi-final encounter.
