STORM FESTIVAL

The Storm Festival Dinner & Art and Photo Exhibition is nearly here. Please come join us for a homemade dinner and informativ­e talk afterwards on Saturday, 2nd February at 6.30pm in the Club Rooms. There will be a choice of meat fish or vegetarian options. The price €15, or €10 for children under 12. menu: vegetable soup and brown bread, shepherds pie, fish pie, vegeterian chilli, apple tart, fruit crumble, brownie, served with whipped cream. Tea, coffee, milk, juice. You can bring your own wine but no beer or spirits. Tickets on sale in the Office. Please purchase or reserve tickets by Tuesday 29th Jan stating your meal option. After dinner presentati­on: Martha Farrell, Susan Vickers and Louise Overy talking about cleaner coasts. All proceeds will go to replenish Castlegreg­ory Community Council projects fund, such as the new Playground. We will try to do more fundraiser­s during the year to get ready for more projects.

TIDY TOWNS MEETING

Castlegreg­ory and Surroundin­g Areas Tidy Towns Public Meeting is being held on Monday 11th February 2019 in the Club Room at 7.30pm Guest Speakers: Richie Williams of Dingle Tidy Towns & Daragh Walsh of Deelis Landscapin­g. Please come to the meeting and support this initiative. Everyone is welcome -- young, old, inbetweene­rs. Let’s make a great Community Effort and get our village onto the Tidy Towns Map. Can we do it? YES WE CAN!
