Lots of exciting courses at Family Resource Centre

LISTOWEL Family Resource is gearing itself up for a few busy months as it prepares some courses covering a wide range of interests.

The centre is currently taking names for these courses, one of which focuses on gardening.

This course is set to start on March 5.

It comes with FETAC Level Three status.

It will place particular focus on helping to teach people how to grow their own vegetables.

Spaces for this program are limited, so one is advised to book early by phoning Bridie at (068) 23584.

Another course, which is titled ‘Cooking on a Budget’, will focus on preparing healthy food without spending above and beyond in the process.

Those who enrol will learn how to prepare nutritious and delicious meals that follow specific dietary needs.

This program will get underway on February 28 at 10am.

Again, numbers for this course are limited, and phoning Bridie to secure an early booking is advised.

Last, but not least, is a course on painting with acrylics and, again, spaces for this are limited and one should book in advance.
