Senior management’s welcome

-

Dear Parent/Guardian, We cordially invite you to the Coláiste Fionnchua Virtual Open Evening on Wednesday, 21st October at 7pm, the purpose of which is to introduce both students and parents to the facilities, ethos and atmosphere of the college. Here in Coláiste Fionnchua, we aim to ensure that each student entrusted into our care is given the opportunity to fulfil their potential, both academically and as an individual. We aim to achieve this by encouraging and challenging our students, providing a comprehensive academic curriculum and promoting a wide-ranging programme of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.

PROMOTING ACADEMIC ATTAINMENT

All students have the opportunity to study subjects at higher level in both the junior and senior cycles. By promoting academic attainment through homework, evening study, study initiatives and our academic council, students enable themselves to maximise subject results.

DEDICATED STAFF

The caring, committed and highly skilled staff, place a huge emphasis on both the academic and holistic development of students, affording Coláiste Fionnchua its reputation as a place where students can fulfil their academic and individual potential in a welcoming, encouraging and safe environment. It is this commitment and dedication that allows us to provide a top quality educational experience for the students who enrol with us in Coláiste Fionnchua. Our teaching staff are currently involved in national and international training initiatives, such as Instructional Leadership, Junior Cycle for Teachers CPD and the Magenta principles.
