MANY holidaymakers are looking for more eco-friendly modes of travel these days — with searches for this up 21 per cent in the past 12 months according to a new study.
Trains, in particular, are some of the most relaxing and immersive ways to enjoy incredible scenery while helping to minimise the effect on the environment.

Coming in on top is the Bernina Express in Switzerland, a four-hour scenic route that takes travelers through astonishing alpine landscapes and a UNESCO world heritage site.
