Now Britney wants a piece of Robbie...
BRITNEY Spears plans to make a long-time dream a reality by duetting with
Robbie Williams.
The American singer previously admitted she would love to perform with X Factor judge Robbie who has just announced a Las Vegas residency.
It comes after I revealed Robbie was set to take on the States with a string of dates in Sin City in March next year.
In October, Britney, 36, also announced she’d be returning for her Britney: Domination residency which will launch in February and run until August. A source reveals: “Britney has always wanted to work with Robbie and when their management teams have touched on the subject before both have been keen, but schedules clashed.
“Now Britney’s heard Robbie will be there in March, she’s keen to make it happen and would be willing to guest on stage with him.
“Robbie’s had difficulty winning over the US audience, so having Britney on side would definitely benefit him too.”
In 2010, Britney said: “I would love to do a duet with Robbie Williams...where are you?”
Five years ago, Robbie, 44, declared he was happy not to have had any impact in the United States as it was a place he couldn’t be recognised.
But when interviewed last year about his feelings on making it Stateside, he said: “Nobody knows who I am. I get to stare at them but they don’t stare because they don’t know who I am. I don’t like this.”
That could all be about to change big time...
