The former Taoiseach is the latest highprofile addition to the Uk-based Speakers Associates agency, where he is already listed in the highest fee category.

The ex-fine Gael leader is charging upwards of €22,000 per talk – the price bracket reserved for the most soughtafter guests.

Along with applauding the 66-yearold’s political legacy, the agency’s website described its latest recruit as a “captivating and memorable” speaker.

And in a glowing profile on the Co Mayo native, the agency’s chiefs singled out for praise his celebrated lecture on immigration to US President Donald Trump.

In its profile on Mr Kenny, the website states: “His St Patrick’s Day speech at the White House about the value of immigration was viewed more than 30 million times.

“As a speaker, he is

captivating and memorable, whose expertise and experience in leading Ireland through its worst recession provides insight to his audiences.” However, Mr Kenny isn’t the only Irish public figure who’s listed in the highest “on application” price bracket. TV presenter Graham Norton and Live Aid hero Bob Geldof are two of the agency’s most in-demand speakers, both able to command hefty fees, as well as expenses, for a single talk.

Funnyman Dara O Briain, former President of Ireland Mary Robinson and ex-formula One boss Eddie Jordan are also among the highest-paid orators on the agency’s books.

Economist David Mcwilliams, comic Ed Byrne and former Finance Minister Charlie Mccreevy are some of the Irish names listed in the second fee bracket, which has a ceiling of €22,000.

The agency, which has around 850 speakers on its books, also has a third price range where speakers’ fees are up to a maximum of €11,000. news@irishmirror.ie
