BECKHAMS ARE DUBLIN THEIR FUN ON VISIT TO THE CAPITAL

- By Philip Downes

WELL look who’s stout on the town, having a ball in our capital city!

And given that he’s one of the most famous faces in soccer history, it’s no surprise David Beckham, 47, was recognised almost immediately – despite the flat cap – after dropping into a wellknown Dublin watering hole to celebrate son Cruz’s 18th birthday.

David and Cruz had started their Dublin adventure with a trip to the Guinness Storehouse before they were spotted at the Long Hall pub on George’s Street on Monday night. David yesterday shared some snaps from the night, including a photo of Cruz’s face etched on the head of a pint of Guinness and a picture of his and his son’s names on high-vis vests while at a party at the Storehouse curated by Styled With Grace, run by former Irish Daily Mail fashion editor Grace Cahill.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star posted the series of snaps of their visit to his 77.7million followers on Instagram, where he wrote: ‘God I’ve missed Dublin.’ And he added on his Instagram and Facebook: ‘As we celebrate Cruzie #18 AGAIN! Can’t beat a good Irish pub and the people.’

Friends and fans rushed to compliment David and Cruz’s escapades, with fellow Manchester United legend Patrice Evra wishing younger Beckham a happy birthday. Along with Cruz, David has three other children with wife Victoria – Brooklyn, Romeo and Harper.

According to an online post by Cruz, the father and son spent ‘24 hours in Dublin’. They enjoyed traditional music in one pub, as well as a sing-song to Dirty Old Town.

Cruz also wrote that it ‘feels good to be 18’ on another picture, which was liked by his mother. Fashion designer and former Spice Girls singer Victoria, 48, also took to her Instagram Stories to share a sweet snap of her youngest son at a table with hubby David. She gushed: ‘We can never celebrate you turning 18 enough! We love you so much @cruzbeckham.’ Last week, Cruz headed to the London Social tattoo parlour to get a new inking on his leg for his 18th. The artwork, which appears to depict a robot, is on the outside of his left calf.

The birthday boy also marked his special day by enjoying his first legal pint with his dad and brother Romeo.

He uploaded a picture with a pint of beer, although it was a pricey Rolex on his wrist that caught the eye of fans.
