ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN 6.5 Lost Benzema for a split second just before his leveller but an otherwise strong night.
THIAGO SILVA 6.5 Will be disappointed by Benzema’s goal but eased through the game as a calming influence.
ANTONIO RUDIGER 7 Continued his fine form since the turn of the year. Set up Pulisic’s excellent opener.
CESAR AZPILICUETA 6.5 Lost a crucial header to Militao for Real’s leveller but was largely dependable.
N’GOLO KANTE 7 So much energy and quality in central midfield. Superb at both ends of the pitch.
JORGINHO 8 Massively influential and looked imperious throughout. Everything went through the Italian.

Provided a good outlet for his team. Saw plenty of the ball and generally used it well.
CHRISTIAN PULISIC 7.5 Took his early goal brilliantly and caused Real’s defence problems with his movement.
TIMO WERNER 5.5 Missed a gilt-edged opportunity to open the scoring. It didn’t get much better for German.
MASON MOUNT 7 Buzzed around the pitch causing problems wherever he ventured. Truly belongs at this level.
