THE Premier League is set to introduce their own government-style slogan which reads: ‘Support your club. Stay safe. Follow at home’. The messaging has not yet been signed off, but it is likely that this will be the phrase they agree on. Clubs will be asked to promote the message amid concerns about fans gathering at grounds. They will also send out videos and messages from their players and managers asking fans to behave responsibly.

CHELSEA are confident they will be able to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester, if they secure a place in next season’s Champions League. The England left-back is a top transfer target for the Blues, with manager Frank Lampard known to be particularly keen on the 23-year-old. Chelsea have already secured the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner for a combined total of around £90million.

BOLTON are looking for a new manager after confirming Keith Hill and his assistant David Flitcroft will not be offered new contracts when their deals expire at the end of June. Wanderers were relegated from League One this week, finishing bottom on 14 points after starting the campaign with a 12-point deduction for going into administration.

SHEFFIELD UNITED have struck a deal with Manchester United to keep goalkeeper Dean Henderson on loan until the end of the season. Henderson has impressed as Chris Wilder’s team emerged as contenders for a Champions League place. There are details to still finalise, but Wilder is confident he will have the 23-year-old for nine of the last 10 games.
