Gwyneth’s Glee as she reveals plan to wed producer beau Brad Falchuk

-

GWYNETH Paltrow has confirmed her engagement to her beau Brad Falchuk, with the lovebirds telling fans they feel ‘incredibly lucky’ to have found each other.

The founder of lifestyle magazine GOOP and her TV producer fiancé shared a joint statement to Good Morning America yesterday.

‘We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship,’ the note began.

The Iron Man actress also released her first cover for GOOP magazine, pictured, which features her being cuddled by her TV writer husbandto-be. The new edition of GOOP hits stands today.

It has also been claimed they have been engaged for a year already.

The actress, 48, met the Glee creator, 46, on the set of the musical drama in 2014, but kept their relationship under wraps until September 2015.

In March 2014, Gwyneth and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin famously announced that they were ‘consciously uncoupling’. Their divorce was finalised in July 2016.

US Weekly was first to report in November the news that Gwyneth and Brad were engaged. ‘They both knew it would happen, but it wasn’t a big thing to them because they were both in long marriages before. There wasn’t a rush,’ a source said.

While they have reportedly been dating quietly for the past three years, the couple have never walked a red carpet together and rarely appear on each other’s social media accounts.

However, in March of last year, the Shakespeare In Love actress made a rare declaration of love for her partner. She shared a selfie on Instagram to wish him a happy birthday – the first and only time that she’s posted about the American Horror Story producer.

It’s a different tack for Gwyneth, who has previously enjoyed a string of very high-profile romances with the likes of Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and her ex-husband Chris Martin, 40, with whom she shares two children.

In a recent interview with Girlboss Radio, the Oscar-winning actress admitted she hadn’t always had the best luck with romance in the past.

‘I’ve f***ed up so many relationships,’ she said. ‘I’m actually a pretty good friend, and a good sister and daughter and mother. But I’m at my potentially most vulnerable and f***ed up in the romantic slice of the pie. It’s taken me a lot of work to get to the place where I have a good romantic relationship.’

She added: ‘Success to me is relationships that function really well, where there is a beautiful feedback loop between people.’
