‘He fell off his heels!’ – Louis pokes fun at Simon

-

HE was among a concerned multitude when he learned that Simon Cowell had fainted and fallen down the stairs last week.

And Louis Walsh voiced his concerns over the X Factor judge’s hectic schedule during his appearance on Loose Women yesterday – but also cracked a gag at Cowell’s expense.

Louis, 65, claimed that the music mogul, who is suffering from low blood pressure, needs to ‘slow down’

Speaking about Cowell’s incident, Walsh, pictured, explained: ‘He’s a workaholic, he needs to slow down. He goes home at night and is on to people in LA, making records – he never stops.’

But the cheeky star attempted to make light of the scenario, going on to joke: ‘I think he fell off his high heels! I’m sure he’s going to be back at the weekend. He loves his job.’

Walsh also appeared to make a thinly-veiled swipe at Cheryl, who failed to fill in for the injured star on the judging panel over the weekend.

The Loose Women asked Louis why showmakers opted to have Alesha Dixon, who is a fixture on the Britain’s Got Talent panel, as opposed to former X Factor judge Cheryl, who was in the crowd on the night.

‘Alesha has done more auditions, and we love Alesha, we love her,’ he smiled.

‘She’s a team player, she’s the perfect standin,’ he added.

Ms Dixon stood in for injured head judge Cowell as he was forced to miss out on the second live show and seeing his acts perform on Sunday.

The record boss was treated by paramedics at his home after he fell down the stairs and was found unconscious by his security.
