Girl’s allowed, but so’s a boy as Kimberley opts not to find out baby’s sex!

-

KIMBERLEY Walsh has revealed that she is expeting baby No. 2 with husband Justin Scott, but she insists she will be just as happy with a second boy as with a first daughter. The 34-year-old Girls Aloud singer walked down the aisle in Barbados in February and found out about their new arrival just weeks after the wedding.

The singer showed off her neat little bump in a peach maxi dress as she spoke excitedly about her plans for her expanding family.

Kimberley revealed to Hello! magazine: ‘We knew soon after we got married that we’d be very happy for baby number two to come along. When I first met Justin 14 years ago, I told him I wanted four children. We’re both over the moon.’

She went on to discuss the discovery: ‘Before I had even taken a test, I knew it instinctively. I wasn’t suffering from morning sickness but telltale changes in my body made me certain I was expecting.

‘When I took a home test early one morning to make sure, it confirmed what I’d already sensed. I was thrilled. The first thing I did was to wake up Justin and tell him, “You’re going to be a daddy again!’’’

Kimberley soared to fame in 2002 when Girls Aloud formed on pioneering ITV talent show Popstars: The Rival and she remains firm friends with bandmates Nicola Roberts and Cheryl. The blond beauty revealed she could not contain her baby news any longer when the former X Factor judge came to her house: ‘When Cheryl came over to visit, I couldn’t keep my pregnancy a secret any longer.

‘She was so happy for us and thinks it’s great to keep our family growing and that there will be a small age gap between [21-month-old] Bobby and the new baby.’ The stunning star revealed she and Justin have opted not to find out the sex of the tot following the 12-week scan. Kimberley spoke shortly after her wedding about her desire to have more kids, saying: ‘I definitely want more children. Bobby is so sociable, he loves other kids so he’d definitely enjoy it.

‘For him to grow up with a sibling close in age to him would be lovely, so, yes – fingers crossed.’
