Laura’s having an ace time at Wimbledon
WIMBLEDON got off to a sun-drenched start yesterday as fans and celebrities flocked to the opening day of the tennis tournament to enjoy some of the action.
Celebrities who hit centre court for the first day of Wimbledon 2016 included Irish TV presenter Laura Whitmore, 31, who was spotted stepping out in a pin-striped dress.
The Bray native was enjoying the sunshine alongside singer Sam Smith, 24, and took to Instagram to share several pictures of the tournament’s opening day.
One of her posts read: ‘Wimbledon Day 1 having a lot of fun with this beautiful man @samsmithworld #balls.’
Ms Whitmore showed off her impeccable sense of style as she teamed her pin-striped blue and white dress with a navy blazer.
She also shared photographs of herself hanging out with model Amber Le Bon, 26.
It’s been a busy period for Ms Whitmore, who was also spotted at Glastonbury hanging out with One Direction singer Niall Horan over the weekend.
The Mullingar star, 22, and his fellow Irish native partied the night away at the world-famous music festival in Worthy Park, Somerset, with a host of other famous friends.
Laura took to Instagram to share a picture of herself and Niall at Glastonbury with pals including comedian Jack Whitehall and his actress girlfriend Gemma Chan.
Cliff Richard was also among the host of famous faces who turned up to watch the action on the opening day of Wimbledon yesterday.
The singer, 75, wore a cream summer suit to the championships and was spotted near the Royal Box.
