TODAY’S TEMPTRESSES
AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA
THE world No. 3 was for years considered a model citizen in her native Poland, where she was a long-standing ambassador for the Catholic Church’s young people’s wing.
Then she stripped off for ESPN magazine (top), with a few carefully placed tennis balls to protect her modesty, and the Church dropped her like a stone.
‘If I was invited to do it again, I would do it again,’ Agnieszka, 27, said unapologetically. ‘Of course I am Catholic, but I never had any concerns.’
CAROLINE WOZNIACKI
THE Danish former world No. 1 (above left) was putting the finnal touches to her wedding when her fiance, golf star Rory McIlroy, suffered an inexplicable bout of nerves shortly before their planned nuptials in 2014.
‘The problem is mine,’ he declared. ‘The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realise I wasn’t ready for all that marriage entails. I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we’ve had.’
To the delight of her male fans, Caroline, 25, remains single.
EUGENIE BOUCHARD
THE daughter of a wealthy Canadian investment banker, the 22-year-old is the nearest thing women’s tennis currently has to an ‘It-girl’.
Bouchard (above right) achieved fame after she reached the Wimbledon final two years ago.
While her on-court career has since stalled, she’s a favourite of corporate sponsors, who are energetically promoted via Twitter and Instagram, where the athletic blonde occasionally titillates her followers with shots of herself in a bikini.
