Kate’s all business... shame about this fella

SHE has an enviable pair of pins herself – but Kate Middleton was no competitio­n for one particular­ly fabulous trader yesterday.

Standing next to Nigel Halligan at a charity event, Kate admitted she couldn’t help but feel ‘impressed’ at his hairy legs and high heels.

Kicking off his black patent stilettos afterwards and rubbing his feet, Mr Halligan said: ‘I really don’t know how you women do it. She told me she was impressed because they were so high and said I should put my feet up the minute they had gone. I certainly took her advice on that one.’

Kate, sporting a favourite LK Bennett suit, was with her husband, Prince William, at the 23rd ICAP annual Charity Day in London – a fundraiser by the global brokerage firm which sees the staff dressing up to complete their

trades. Last year it raised £8million (€11million) globally.

The royal couple giggled as they met groups of outlandish­ly dressed brokers, none more so than the ‘moneysuper­market.com’ men at the Central European MIRS Desk. The team had based their costumes on the TV advert which shows a man wearing a smart jacket and denim hotpants gyrating down the street in stilettos to the Pussycat Dolls tune Don’t Cha.

Dan Lebeau showed William the ropes – helping him secure a deal worth 500 million Czech koruna – but said the prince was more interested in where he got his skyscraper black patent heels from. ‘That was the first thing he asked me – where on earth did I get them from!’
