Eat, drink and ...head to the gym! Vogue is having a keep fit Christmas

-

IT’S a time for being merry, and a bit of indulging, but Vogue Williams is planning just two days off from the gym over the Christmas holidays. The model and DJ works out religiously in the gym and admitted that she will back to regular workouts on December 27.

Vogue, 29, who announced the end of her three-year marriage to singer Brian McFadden in July, will ease up on her strict diet, allowing herself the turkey and all the trimmings as she marks Christmas away from her ex-husband.

‘ I am l i ke anyone else at Christmas – I stuff my face and I particularly love stuffing,’ she told the Irish Daily Mail.

‘It’s the only time of y e ar people don’t watch what they eat – but I will be back in the gym on the 27th, working out.

‘Once you get into it you just like to keep it up. And to be honest, I enjoy working out.

‘It gives me a better head, so I will stick with i t. It makes me f eel better.’

Howth- born Vogue, right, has shared recent Christmases with McFadden and his two daughters from his previous marriage to Kerry Katona.

The Fade Street star said she will miss the tradition. ‘I’m spending Christmas with my aunts and uncles and all my family.

‘I always spent Christ- mas with Brian and his girls, I’ll miss that. I think he will be away for Christmas this year, I’m not sure what he’s doing.’

Blonde beauty Vogue is currently dividing her time between her new base in London and her apartment in Dublin, which she bought earlier this year. There are a number of television projects in the pipeline in the UK, but she’s gaining plenty of momentum in RTÉ at home, thanks to her new series, Vogue’s Wild Girls.

Tonight’s opening episode sees her travel to America to spend time in a women’s prison.

And Vogue is in talks for another documentary slot next year.

She remarked: ‘I’ve another series with RTÉ that I’ll be doing – it’s terrifying but it’s an interesting subject.

‘If it goes ahead it will crazy, but brilliant.

‘It’s a documentary series that evolved from my pitch and they develop them.

‘It’s great RTÉ are about pushing new talent – and they are open to hearing my ideas, by part of the process. I want to keep doing it and always want to make shows at home.’

And the Dubliner sees the documentaries as an opportunity to finetune her TV skills. ‘I think with each show I l earn more about what I’m doing – the fact I love chatting helps because I like hearing people’s life stories,’ she said.

Vogue’s Wild Girls airs tonight on RTÉ2 at 10pm
