Will Ronan whip up a Storm over the Irish Sea?
RONAN Keating and Storm Uechtritz are apparently planning on saying ‘I Do’ – in England.
The l oved- up couple got engaged l ast month on a romantic break in Thailand to toast Keating’s successful stint in Once: The Musical.
Keating has said they will have a ‘Bohemian’ country bash over several days and he has insisted that his three children, Jack, aged 16, Missy, 14 and Ali, nine, will take on leading roles at the ceremony.
‘We want it to be very relaxed, kids, dogs and everyone, hanging out together,’ said the Boyzone frontman.
But Uechtritz’s father Gordon said preparations were under way for a lavish wedding across the Irish Sea later this summer – and so far there’s been no mention of tying the knot in Ireland.
Mr Uechtritz, who will give away his daughter, said: ‘I’ve met him [Ronan] a few times, he’s a pretty solid country kid that grew up and kept his feet on the ground. The wedding will be in August and they’ll marry in England.’
News of Keating and Uechtritz’s engagement surfaced in April after the Rollercoaster singer’s divorce to Yvonne Keating was finalised.
Keating, 38, surprised Uechtritz, 34, with a one-of-a-kind oval diamond set in a diamond-encrusted titanium band.
‘The sky was a pink-orange colour and the sun was rising just over the hill. It took our breath away. It was perfect,’ he told Hello magazine previously.
‘I had this little bag with me, with the ring inside, and I thought, “Now’s the time to ask her.”
‘It was such a perfect moment but she kept ruining it as she had no idea I was trying to propose.
‘I started to say some romantic things I wanted to say but she was only half paying attention and kept talking back, like we were having a conversation. She had no idea what was going on.
‘So I took the ring out and got down on one knee – and that’s when she realised what was happening and the tears started falling down her face.’
