I’m thinking outside the box for my wedding, says Hayden

HAYDEN Panettiere revealed earlier this month that she didn’t want to ‘rush’ her wedding to boxer Wladimir Klitschko. But by the sounds of it, the 24year-old actress has already got an idea or two for her dress.

She said: ‘It’s OK to be a little sexy on your wedding day!’

Hayden, pictured, got engaged to her fiancé Klitschko last October after an on/off five-year relationship. She said: ‘We are very laid-back about the wedding plans; we don’t want to rush anything. We want the day to be fun, happy and stress free.

‘Growing up, the thought of not getting married never crossed my mind. It was always: I’m going to get married and then I’m going to have a family.’

And while Hayden is accustomed to donning eye- catching gowns for the red carpet, s he s ays stepping out on her wedding day will be an entirely different experience.

‘When eyes have been on me in the past , it’ s been because of an event, where people see me as a persona, as Hayden Panettiere the actress,’ she said.

‘For the aisle, you’re the purest, most emotionally stripped-down version of yourself, sharing this raw moment with the most important people in your life. It seems very overwhelming!’ She added: ‘I love colour, so that will play a big part.’ The Nashville star met her beau through a mutual friend back in 2009. The pair split up 2011, but rekindled their relationship last year. Yet, Hayden admits it wasn’t Klitschko’s good looks that drew her to him. She explained: ‘You could be the most beautiful man on the planet, but if you have nothing to back that up then there is nothi ng s exy about you.

‘ I ’ ve met guys and gone f r om, “You’re beautiful”, to, “I could not be l ess attracted to you if I tried”. I want to be with somebody who opens my eyes to the world and helps me to become a better person in every way.

‘Wladimir is not just a boxer; he’s smart and caring. It’s been a ride.’
