DHL EXPRESS IRELAND CONNECTING PEOPLE AND IMPROVING LIVES

DHL offers innovative and sustainable solutions for complex logistics challenges

-

At DHL, we are proud of the role we play in delivering some of the greatest moments on Earth — for our customers, partners, teams, players, performers, and fans. These are the moments that deliver breath-taking performances, powerful emotions, and long-lasting memories, and can act as the catalyst for driving value for society.

We are proudly committed to our partners and dedicated to offering innovative solutions for complex logistics challenges in the sports, arts and culture arenas. By partnering with world-class teams and events, we have the opportunity to showcase the unrivalled ability and power of our global network and our superstar colleagues across the world.

At DHL Express Ireland, our local sponsorship portfolio continues to grow. In addition to our-longstanding partnerships with the FAI and IRFU, we have recently announced our newest sponsorships of the Women’s National Football Team, Bohemian’s Women’s Team, and sustainable fashion competition Junk Kouture. It is essential that our partnerships align with the values that we foster in DHL, and it’s easy to recognise how teamwork, passion and a can-do attitude are values that strive for excellence across the board.

SUSTAINABLE LOGISTICS

As a logistics company we are aware of the impact our business has on the planet, and with our expertise in sustainable logistics solutions we are aiming to reduce our logistics-related emissions to zero by 2050. For this reason we were delighted to partner with Junk Kouture to provide them with our greener services while bringing Irish sustainable fashion to the international stage. Their focus on highlighting the issue of sustainability to the business owners and managers of the future is commendable, and we are delighted to call ourselves their logistic partner.

On a global scale, DHL enjoys a long-standing history and involvement with the game of rugby. We are the experts in delivering the tailored solutions required of the sport, a title earned by delivering partnerships with Harlequins in England, the DHL Stormers in South Africa and our very own URC 2023 champions, Munster.

CHAMPION MEMORIES

This year as part of the global sponsorship of the EPCR, we were delighted to have both the Challenge and Champions Cup finals in Dublin. As part of the celebrations we welcomed CJ Stander and Bryan Habana to Dublin and they were kept busy filming, bringing the Champions Cup trophy on a whirlwind tour of some Irish customers, and meeting and greeting fans and customers with DHL at the Aviva Stadium. The memories made during that week will live on in the minds of our customers for years to come.

Through our sponsorships we are living the DHL mantra of Connecting People and Improving Lives. It’s difficult to name something that connects people across the world more than sports — it unites us, gives us purpose and passion. The nature of sporting tournaments and cultural events mean that equipment and people are travelling across the world and back again. It is vital that as part of these movements we do what we can do protect the environment and provide the most sustainable method of transport for our partners. This is why they chose us!
