Renji CC took the first innings lead against IOB in the TDCA A division league on Wednesday. After dismissing IOB for 111 in the first innings, Renji scored 154 to take a 43run lead. IOB was two for no loss after one overs at end of the first day’s play.

In B division, Zeeros defeated Attingal CC by six wickets while Civil

Services scored a 43run win over Boys CC.

Civil Services CC 174 in 37.4 overs (Mahesh Antony 32, Abdul Nazeer 7/41) lost to Boys CC 131 in 23.3 overs (Abdul Nazeer 47, Radakrishn­an 3/33).

Andhra wicketkeep­erbatter Vamshhi Krishna slammed six sixes in an over during his knock of 110 (64b, 9x4, 10x6) against Railways in the Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy (u23) at Kadapa.

Vamshhi, who hails from Guntur, performed the feat in the 10th over of the innings, the bowler to suffer being legspinner Damandeep Singh.

After Andhra was bowled out for 378, Railways amassed 865 for nine (declared), the highest in the C.K. Nayudu Trophy eclipsing Punjab’s 841 for nine against New Delhi in 201718 at Mohali.
