BRS leaders condole Ramoji Rao’s death, KCR terms Rao as founder of media houses

BRS working president KT Rama Rao said he was deeply shocked by Ramoji Rao's death. He said Rao was a great visionary who grew up with self-efforts and added that his life was an inspiratio­n to all.

BRS party chief K Chandrasek­har Rao has condoled the death of Eenadu Group Chairman Ramoji Rao. He recalled his services as a businessma­n in various fields and as the founder of media houses. “Condolence­s to the bereaved family members of Ramoji,” he said.

BRS party Siddipet MLA Harish Rao also condoled Ramoji's death. He said his life which started as an ordinary person was a role model for everyone today. He revealed that Rao had shown the power of Telugu people to the whole world. BRS party MLAs Jagadish Reddy, Sabita Indra Reddy and Sudheer Reddy also paid their last respects to Ramoji Rao. Former minister Srinivas said the death of Ramoji Rao, the chairman of “eenadu” group of companies, was very sad. The news of his death has shocked me deeply, he said.

Rao's death is extremely saddening. The death of Ramoji Rao, the father of modern journalism, is an irreparabl­e loss to the media industry. He set up several institutio­ns and provided employment to thousands of people. Ramoji Rao was a great man who worked tirelessly for the good of the people and for the welfare of the society. Ramoji's death is a great loss not only to the Telugu people, but also to the country. I express my deepest condolence­s on his death," Talasani said.

BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar stated that the death of Ramoji Rao, the founder of today's daily, was very sad.
