Sitting MLA and former cabinet minister, Daughter of late Gopinath Munde. OBC face of BJP in Marathwada. It is her debut in national politics. Her younger sister Pritam was a two-time MP in Modi's government.

BAJRANG SONAWANE NCP (SP)

After split in the NCP, Sonawane went with Ajit

Pawar and later returned to Sharad Pawar fold. He has good connection­s with people. He has a chance to avenge the last election defeat from Pankaja's sister.

Aurangabad CHANDRAKAN­T KHAIRE (SHIV SENA UBT)

A staunch Shiv Sainik. Was elected consecutiv­ely for four terms in Lok Sabha representi­ng Aurangabad in 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014. In 2019, AIMIM candidate Imtiaz Jaleel defeated Khaire by 4,492 votes

SANDIPAN BHUMRE (SHIV SENA)

Sitting MLA. After a split in the party, went with Eknath Shinde. Contesting Lok Sabha elections for the first time. He has a good knowledge of his region and people. He has a threat from Khaire.

IMTIAZ JALEEL (AIMIM)

Sitting MP, has a strong public connection. He is popular among minority and Dalit voters. He became the only Lok Sabha MP from his party to win other than party chief Asaduddin Owaisi who won Hyderabad

Nandurbar HEENA GAVIT (BJP)

Daughter of Vijaykumar Gavit, has strong family background. Two-time sitting MP, one of the youngest MPs, Faces an anti-incumbency threat. Lack of connection with the constituen­cy.

GOWAL PADVI (CONGRESS)

Son of KC Padavi, the MLA from Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar. Handpicked by Congress's top leadership. Priyanka Gandhi held a rally for him. He has a chance to carry forward his family name.

Jalna RAOSAHEB DANVE (BJP)

Five-time sitting MP, current Minister of State for Railways. He was always interested in Centre politics but was state BJP president. He has the threat of anti-incumbency.

KALYAN KALE (CONGRESS)

Two-time former MLA. Gave Raosaheb Danve a tough fight in the 2009 elections. But Congress has lost its grip in the last two elections.

Shirur Pune AMOL KOLHE (NCP-SP)

Sitting MP. A good orator and has a background in the film industry. His work as an MP was appreciate­d. After the split in the NCP, he did a flip-flop. Later stood strong with Sharad Pawar.

Ahmadnagar NILESH LANKE (NCP SP)

He had joined Ajit Pawar after the split and later joined hands with Sharad Pawar. Has good popularity in the constituen­cy, and full support from Congress and Sr Pawar. He has a chance to defeat the dynasts.

PUNE MURALIDHAR MOHOL (BJP)

Sitting Mayor of Pune city, contesting first-time LS polls. Closely associated with Devendra Fadanvis. Hailed for good work during Covid-19. He is filling the leadership vacuum after Girish Bapat's demise.

Jalgaon SMITA WAGH (BJP)

Has experience of

32 years in politics, became

MLC in 2015, and was state unit president of the party's women's wing. Faces a strong fight from Sena UBT.

KARAN PAWAR (SENA-UBT)

Twice president of the Municipal Council. He left the BJP and joined UBT along with sitting Unmesh Patil. He has the opportunit­y to show he can take on BJP. But BJP's Girish Mahajan has a hold in the region.

Maval SANJOG WAGHERE (SHIV SENA UBT)

Former mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad, hails from a local political family, which switched from Congress to NCP and joined Shiv Sena in 2024. Inexperien­ced, lack of network in constituen­cy.

Raver RAKSHA KHADSE (BJP)

Daughter-inlaw of Eknath Khadse. Has work to show in the constituen­cy. She is loyal to BJP and has strong party support. NCP SP is posing a great threat to her.

SHIVAJIRAO ADHALRAO PATIL (NCP)

Represente­d Shirur thrice. He enjoys a wide network in the constituen­cy. He was with the undivided Sena and later joined Shinde's Sena after the split. But he had to join NCP (AP) as an inter-party arrangemen­t

SUJAY VIKHE PATIL (BJP)

Sitting MP. A neurosurge­onturned-politician. The son of Radhakrish­na Vikhe-Patil, grandson of Balasaheb VikhePatil and great-grandson of Vithalrao Vikhe-Patil. One of the prominent political families in Ahmednagar

RAVINDRA DHANGEKAR (CONGRESS)

Sitting MLA of Kasaba Peth emerged giant killer by defeating BJP-Sena Kasaba candidate in the

Peth bypoll last year. He is approachab­le to citizens but has network only in Kasba Peth. Heavily depends upon NCP SP and UBT.

SHRIRAM PAWAR NCP (SP)

Clean image and a new face, no political experience, a well-known businessma­n and social activist and hails from the Maratha community.

Shrdi SADASHIV LOKHANDE (SHIV SENA)

Non-controvers­ial, two-time sitting MP, three-time MLA from Karjat as BJP candidate, but considered as non-reachable, difficult to meet in the constituen­cy. He is heavily dependent on BJP

BHAUSAHEB WAKCHAURE (SENA-UBT)

Former chief officer of Saibaba Trust. Joined the party in Aug 2023. Was Sena MP. Turncoat tag on him Joined Congress, then BJP again came back to UBT. Accessible to people from the constituen­cy.

SHRIRANG BARNE (SHIV SENA)

Two-time MP, had defeated Parth Pawar in the 2019 election. Emotional UBT supporters will vote against him. Lacks support from allied parties after split in Shiv Sena.
