NEW DELHI: CCTVS will expose human trafficking in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday, alleging "a complete breakdown of law and order" in the Capital. In a series of tweets, the Aam Aadmi Party chief targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), LG Anil Baijal and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. His comments came after the Delhi Commission for Women rescued 74 girls who were victims of human trafficking and were kept at various locations in Delhi.

"Complete breakdown of law and order in Delhi. Is it possible at such a large scale without collision [collusion] at the top? BJP, LG and Rajnathji ought to respond. People of Delhi feeling unsafe," the CM said.

"CCTV cameras will expose such crimes, the people behind it and make police accountable. If police were to give license for CCTV, will police ever give license to install CCTV cameras at such places? Never," he added. Meanwhile, the AAP Chief Spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj informed the media in a press conference that the initiative of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) helped in rescuing many girls from Delhi who were brought from Nepal and the nearby areas and were about to be trafficked to other countries like Dubai, Saudi Arab, and Sri Lanka.

Bharadwaj further informed that not a single FIR has been registered against human trafficking in Delhi. “This proves the carelessness of the police and the Central government who are assumed to have an internal connection with the international syndicate,” Bharadwaj said.
