Bollywood’s special shout-out for Irrfan and Angrezi Medium
Irrfan is among the few Indian actors who have broken international barriers with their talent. His latest film, Angrezi Medium, is a heartfelt ode to freedom and fatherhood. Although, the actor has been away for health reasons, the film’s trailer has already left audiences longing for his return.
It’s not just them. Actors can’t keep calm either, as messages pour in for Irrfan from all corners. Expressing his fondness for Irrfan, Varun Dhawan says, “Irrfan sir, you are a delightful performer and a big influence on so many actors. The Angrezi Medium trailers look very nice, and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Sharing a personal anecdote, Katrina Kaif says, “I still remember we had one scene together in New York (2009). I would look into your eyes and get mesmerised, messing up takes. But my memories of those days are special.”
Rajkummar Rao posted a video clip for Irrfan, where he said, “I can’t begin to tell you how excited and emotional I’m to see you in Angrezi Medium. The sincerity and honesty you have in your work is truly inspiring. We love you, we care for you, and we pray for you.”
Arjun Kapoor also expressed his love for The Lunchbox (2013) actor, “Irrfan sir, I have had the pleasure of being a small part of your work life by sharing screen space with you in Gunday (2014). The world awaits your return and Angrezi Medium, we believe, will be the first of many more magical stories that you shall bring to life.”
Wishing Irrfan a speedy recovery, Janhvi Kapoor says, “You have taught us so much with your work. I want to see you make more of that magic at the best health possible.”
With all these wishes pouring in, it reaffirms that Irrfan has the world supporting him.
