₹110-cr GST fraud unearthed: One arrested

MUMBAI: In what they claim is one of the biggest GST frauds in recent years, officials of the GST commission­erate in Raigad arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly issuing fake invoices of ₹650 crore and availing input tax credit (ITC) of ₹110 crore, without the actual supply of goods. ITC allows traders to claim credit from government for paid taxes. ››P3
