Paper leak: Accused brought to Thane from Nagpur

three army personnel who were involved in the army recruitmen­t board exam scam were brought to Thane from Nagpur on Friday .

They had received the leaked papers through Whatsapp, the police said The accused had tody till March 10.

After their arrest, the Thane crime branch beefed up security and more than 30 cops are keeping an eye on them.

The three accused are Nigamkumar Pandey, Dharam Singh and Ravindra Kumar.

He added, “When Santosh Shinde (of the arrested accused) sent a paper to Kumar, it was cross checked by both parties more than two times, after which it was sent to the centres, with the accused had tie-ups. The candidates got these papers and practised on the overnight and the next morning, they walked into the exam centre all tions.”

Police sources also said, “All four units of Thane crime branch are working on this case as it is an important one. We have sent teams to Nagpur, Pune and Goa, and are investigat­ing in all three places. While the documents which are seized from the candidates are under scanner we have recorded
