Coop federation to construct houses for financially weak section
Rajasthan Cooperative Housing Federation is set to construct houses for the financially weaker section. It will provide quality houses at fair prices under Pradhan Mantri and Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojna as per public demand.
At the annual meeting of Rajasthan State Cooperative Housing Federation Limited, administrator Vijay Sharma said that the decision will benefit homeless and financially weaker sections at a large extent. Earlier, the federation had also brought other housing schemes for people.
He said that the federation will setup building material centres where marble, granite, Kota stone will be provided at fair prices. The centres will also provide material to cooperative federations of other states according to the demand. With setting up of the Centre apex cooperative institutions, societies, government and non-governmental institutes will get good quality building material under one roof.
The federation’s managing director RK Sharma said, “With an aim to develope housing schemes, in the action plan, we have incorporated allotment of plots after developing the acquired land as per the demand.”
He further said that the personal loan and baby blanket loan schemes run by the federation will be simplified in order to benefit maximum people by providing affordable loans.
The federation will construct modern affordable housing schemes, public work, bank branches, offices and shelters through government, non-government or on public private partnership. The decision will help in performing quality work in a time bound manner, he said.
