Advani tops draw with 4-0 win

Pankaj Advani made a clean sweep in the round robin stage by smashing Brazil’s Victor Sarkis 4-0 in the World Snooker Championsh­ips. He also grabbed the top seed spot in the draw of 64.

DOCTOR PLEADS GUILTY

Former USA Gymnastics team doctor Lawrence Nassar, accused of molesting more than 100 female athletes over several decades, on Wednesday pleaded guilty to multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct. Nassar faced 22 criminal counts. Olympic gold medal-winning gymnasts Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Gabby Douglas are among those who have said Nassar abused them.
