Hina Khan’s upping the fashion game

The actor, who has been getting compliments for her newlyacquired washboard abs, says if she inspires even one person to work out, it would all be worth it

Hina Khan has been stunning everyone with her red carpet looks and now, she is ready to wow people with her slim and athletic figure. The actor recently posted a photo of her washboard abs on her Instagram account and was flooded with messages from her fans and well-wishers.

Ask Hina about her newly acquired physique and she says, “I have worked quite hard to get these results. But I haven’t done this for any role. I wanted to be fitter and look better. I never used to work out religiously when I was shooting for my TV show. In the last one year, I began working out and my body responded so well to the workouts. I didn’t expect such results so soon. I’ve got many positive messages on social media and I feel if I can inspire even one person to work out, all of this would be worth it.”

Hina isn’t keen on getting more defined abs or a muscular look as she feels it won’t suit her. She says, “I don’t think I would be able to carry that off. I want to be fitter than before and maintain my current look. In fact, I have become a gym enthusiast and people say that I inspire them with my style and fashion choices, Indian or western. And that’s why I have decided to up the fashion game in the gym as well (laughs). I shopped a lot of gym wear during my last visit to London, (UK) and I think when you feel sexy and fashionable in the gym, you feel good about yourself. It gives you that extra push to work harder in the gym.”

On the work front, Hina is tight-lipped about being a part of Ekta Kapoor’s new TV show. Hina has been spotted at events with Ekta and keeps hinting that she will work the latter very soon.

“About the show, I would rather Ekta make the announcement. I have met Ekta a couple of times recently. Sometimes, you get a vibe from a person and even if you haven’t worked with them, you form a connection. Ekta said she likes me as an actor, which was really wonderful to know. I admire her as a person and producer.”
