SWISS AMBASSADOR CONGRATULATES YOGI ON COVID MANAGEMENT

LUCKNOW : Dr Ralph Heckner, the ambassador of Switzerland to India, met chief minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence here on Tuesday.
Terming the meeting a courtesy call, a state government spokesperson said discussions were held to further strengthen the relations between Switzerland and India, especially UP.
The CM said India and Switzerland had strong ties. Inviting Switzerland to invest in Uttar Pradesh, he said there were unlimited possibilities of investment here. Various sectoral policies had been implemented by the state government to encourage investment. A positive atmosphere had been set up in the state to attract investment from abroad, Yogi added.
Uttar Pradesh fought Covid pandemic successfully under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, he added. Dr Ralph Heckner congratulated the CM for excellent Covid management. Under the CM’s leadership, an investment-friendly atmosphere had been created in the state. He assured full cooperation in the
development of Noida international airport for which Zurich Airport International AG had been selected as the developer.
“India, including Uttar Pradesh, has a rich cultural heritage.
The citizens of Switzerland who have visited the state have been greatly impressed by its hospitality. Large number of Swiss citizens wish to visit Uttar Pradesh,” he said.
