NO POINT IN WORRYING TODAY ABOUT WHAT MAY HAPPEN TOMORROW
Worry not over what is not. That is what our gurus tell us as a matter of routine advice. Generally, what happens is that we keep on worrying about things that may never happen. This happens because of our poor understanding of ourselves and the outer world that keeps us puzzling all the time.
Let us face the reality and try to convince ourselves that any kind of worrying is like breeding diseases. Therefore, wisdom lies in understanding that worrying today about what may happen tomorrow is highly misplaced.
As someone had said very nicely when you focus on problems, you will have more problems; and when you focus on possibilities, you will have more opportunities. That means worry not only spoils our present moment when we could do wonders, it also casts a black shadow on our tomorrow.
What is needed is that we need to control worry and let it not overburden us so that our presence of mind and happiness is not disturbed. Worry has a vicious tendency to make you see only the negative aspects of life by undermining all that is good and enjoyable in life. It is like a parasite that ultimately destroys the parent body.
Therefore, the best thing to do is to do your best and forget everything else that robs you of your progress and happiness. After all, we are born to laugh and not to cry!
