Modiji has waved off Rs1.14 lakh cr loan of corporates in the past two years. After receiving hard earned money of people in banks he would wave off the remaining amount of Rs8 lakh crore to benefit his capitalist friends. ARVIND KEJRIWAL, AAP leader and Delhi chief minister

MEERUT: Launching his party’s election campaign in Uttar Pradesh, AAP leader and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetisation and termed it as the biggest scam of Independent India.

He said that people would take revenge of their every minute spent in queues to withdraw their own money.

Addressing a huge gathering at Gokulpur village, Kejriwal: said: “It (demonetisation) is a scheme to benefit Modiji’s capitalist friends who had taken loans of over `8 lakh crore and didn’t return them to banks. Modiji has waved off `1.14 lakh crore loan of corporates in the past two years. After receiving hard earned money of people in banks he would wave off the remaining amount of `8 lakh crore to benefit his capitalist friends.”

Kejriwal asked the crowd as to whether Modi was an honest person and the people raised their hands to say ‘’No”.

Kejriwal accused the PM for receiving money from big industrialists and read out lines from a few documents seized during income tax raids on big corporates in 2013. “If it’s wrong then Modiji should order for an inquiry into the matter because silence over such heinous charges raises doubts,” said the Delhi chief minister.

“I know media would not expose these facts because they are being owned by big corporates,” he said and urged the masses to share these facts on social media and WhatsApp among people. He said that Modi became PM because of Uttar Pradesh where people ensured victory of 73 MPs of BJP and now it is the responsibility of the same people to understand what is going on behind the curtain. He advised the people to ask BJP leaders to seek votes from Ambani and Adani when they come to seek their votes in forthcoming assembly elections. He also raised questions over the expensive marriage of BJP Noida MP and minister Dr Mahesh Sharma’s son.

He said Modi has been mocking the poor by advising them to marry their daughters in ` 2.5 lakh while their ministers and friends are spending crores. Kejriwal asked the PM to direct his MPs to solemnise marriages of their wards in `2.5 lakh.

He also raised questions over recent scheme of centre to convert black money into white after paying 50 percent penalty. “If you had to do this, then why force the entire country to stand in queues for their own money”, he asked.
