ment centres would prepare the people to set up industry in the regions having the raw material for it.
Besides setting up these centres, his ministry was also making arrangements for high technology training of the entrepreneurs with engineering background, said Mishra.
Mishra said entrepreneurs were facing problems in setting up industry in the state.
Besides having complaints mainly against the banks, the entrepreneurs also faced problems because of certain labour laws, he said.
His ministry was now working on strengthening the single window system, he said.
Mishra said there were nearly 3.60 crore micro small and medium enterprise units in the country. These units were employing nearly 8 crore people, said Mishra.
A study conducted by an inde- pendent agency had revealed that 90% of the MSME units set up in the state were doing well.
He said there was a need to redefine the MSMEs as some of the major industries were categorised as MSME in some of the European and other countries.
Replying to a question about Chinese products flooding the Indian markets, Mishra said this was an issue of concern.
