Pankaj Tripathi turns mentor for young acting enthusiast­s

Actor Pankaj Tripathi has impressed everyone with his acting prowess and now he wants to use his experience as an actor to hone the skills of aspiring actors.

The 41-year-old, who hails from Gopalganj, Bihar was getting multiple requests from youngsters from his home town to give acting classes whenever he visited. Now, the actor has invited a couple of them to Mumbai and has taken them under his wings. A source close to the actor says, “A few of the kids have moved to Mumbai. Pankaj is looking after them by supporting them, and giving them acting lessons and teaching the basics of filmmaking and being a guide for nurturing their talent.”

Pankaj feels that it is very important to give young talent the right kind of guidance. “I know what it feels to dream of being actor and the struggle that goes into getting that recognitio­n. I started very young and have come a long way. I have had people in my life, who encouraged me to become and actor and I want to extend the same gesture to other young boys and girls,” says Pankaj. He adds that the youngsters were constantly staying in touch with him through social media. “I could sense their passion for cinema. I hope that I am able to teach these youngsters the importance and difference between the right kind of struggle and what is required to make it big,” he concludes.
