Being a workaholic is the way to gain all the way in life

- PP Wangchuk innervoice@hindustantimes.com

One of the beliefs that I held high ever since I could differentiate between good and bad is that work is worship. A workaholic is perhaps the most satisfied and happy person one can come across. Work of any nature keeps you busy and fully attentive and occupied as if you were in a trans.

Former US president Barack Obama says, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.”

Let us all realise that we have to have an aim and purpose of life. That is possible only by seeking the higher meaning of life that makes it meaningful. There is no other secret for a successful life except engaging yourself fully and doggedly. You have to put in your heart, mind and soul together to work and be determined to get your task done. You need to give 100% of your brain and brawn to make the impossible possible. Only then you will see pleasant surprises that you had never even dreamt of.

When you engage in work, you come up with the qualities of courage and determination. The initial stage of fear that grips your mind does not last for long as you stride ahead in your mission. You start seeing your goal coming nearer, and a day comes when you ride the victorious horse with determination and confidence.

Being a workaholic is, therefore, the way to go and gain all the way.
