FIGHT POLLUTION WITH LIFESTYLE CHANGES

Pollution has been an issue for years, but it has now become severe enough to actually hit daily life. Preparedne­ss on the part of the authoritie­s was missing, but even now if tackled with a plan, Delhi can become worth living again. Each and every citizen has to contribute to planting more trees. It just takes strict adherence to habits like car pooling, use of public transport and the like to actually breathe a lot easy for ourselves and for the future generation­s. Government­s must play its role in ensuring strict implementa­tion of such measures.

Amarinder has been vocal that the air pollution was a serious issue, yet when his counterpar­t asks for a meeting on the issue, he (Amarinder) accuses him of indulging in petty politics. What is wrong in having a discussion and try and come out with a concrete solution. If the Punjab CM has no time to meet his counterpar­t from another state, then a common man must not even dare think of meeting Amarinder.

Neither Gandhi nor other freedom fighters would have ever thought that the country’s governance would pass into the hands of criminals and corrupt anti-social elements.
