Bodoland (Assam): Specific to Bodo tribal people. The existing council has four districts of western and north-central Assam but area demanded extends beyond that
Kamatapur (Assam-West
Bengal): It’s a movement by Koch-Rajbongshi community demanding ST status. Proposed area includes almost all of Bodoland, the plains part of Gorkhaland and other northern Bengal states Garoland (Meghalaya): A movement spearheaded by Garo tribal people. Their map comprises five western districts of Meghalaya Karbi Anglong (Assam): Specific to Karbi tribal people, area demanded covers an existing council across two hill districts – Karbi Anglong and East Karbi Along Dimaraji (Assam): Led by Dimasa tribe, one of the largest in Dima Hasao district. The area demanded covers the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council
Twipraland (Tripura): Proposed map is similar to the area Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council, which is about 68% of the area of the state and is home to 19 tribes
Eastern Nagaland (Nagaland):
Demanded by Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation, comprising four districts – Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire and Longleng
Kukiland (Manipur): Specific to tribes clubbed as Kuki. Areas sought include Kangpokpi, parts of Churachandpur, Chandel and other districts
