Minister inaugurate­s `1.33 cr aviary at NZP

The forest department will take up the issue of encroachme­nts around Mir Alam tank, which borders the Nehru Zoological Park, with the GHMC, forests minister A. Indrakaran Reddy said on Thursday. The minister said that the encroachme­nts were contributi­ng to the water from the tank flooding the zoo, especially when it rains. The GHMC will be asked to take action on the encroachme­nts, he said.
