PRICES AT CINEMA HALLS DROPPED

INOX has set up a water filtration system that filters water using osmosis, ensuring that clean water is available to all customers for free.

A crackdown from the legal metrology department has cinema halls and theatres hustling to make sure that all regulation­s set by the department are being followed to the point.

Bigger cinema halls have already made sure that prices are dropped to meet standards and MRPs are listed on all merchandis­e.

Smaller theatres like Tivoli in Secunderab­ad, claim that prices have been reduced and new boards are being made to show the revised prices.

The theatres have also taken an initiative to ensure that portable drinking water is being provided to customers.

INOX has set up a water filtration system that filters water using osmosis, ensuring that clean water is available to all customers for free. PVR spokespers­on Mr Aditya Karwa, said, “We are aware of the changes and PVR will ensure that all regulation­s set forth by the government are followed.”

The department is said to begin their special checks from tomorrow and unannounce­d checks are suspected to follow soon.
