Two Lakes Ride — A bicycle ride from Gachibowli to Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar will be organised. January 15, 6 am, meeting at Gachibowli bike station.
A 10k and 5k run to raise awareness about girl child education is being organised by Seva Bharathi, NGO. The whole family can participate at the run. January 22, 7 am to 9.30 am, Gachibowli Stadium.
A kite festival will be organised to celebrate the spirit of Sankranti by Cyberabad Gujarati Association. January 14, 10 am to 5 pm, PJR Stadium — GHMC Sports Complex, Chandanagar.
Gagultha Abhishekha Jwala — Every day, holy mass in Malayalam will be delivered for different rituals. January 13 to January 15, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, St Mary’s High School Grounds, Secunderabad.
A solo dance recital by Dr Anupama Kylash on the tradition of Telugu devdasis will be held. January 13, 6.30 pm, Saptaparni, Road No. 8, Banjara Hills.

Gudi Sambaraalu, 2017 — The Telangana temple festival will be held to congregate ancient dance and art at old temples in and around the city. January 14 to March 28, at multiple venues.
Guzishta Hyderabad —A story telling session about the Nizams by Arvind Acharya will be held. January 15, 9.30 am to 12 pm, The Qutub Shahi Tombs, near Golconda Fort.
Smritiyaan — A concert in memory of tabla maestro Late Pandit Chatur Lal will be organised. Pandit Ronu Majumdar (flute), U. Rajesh (mandolin) accompanied by V. Ramani (mridangam), Pranshu Chatur Lal (tabla) will perform. Apart from performance by Ghulam Waris (vocal), a Kathak performance by Pandit Deepak Maharaj will also be staged. The Last Laugh — A comedy review of 2016 memorable events will be performed by the collective Funny Side Up group. January 22, 7 pm, G.P. Birla Centre, Adarsh Nagar.

Dark Monologues — A compilation of three monologues depicting the inner conflicts and consciousness of humans beings will be staged. January 22, 7.30 pm.

Lottery — A play adapted from a Hindustani short story written by the author Premchand will be staged by Rangeen Sapney theatre. January 13, 7.30 pm.
