Project to bring change to village

- By SAINIMILI MAGIMAGI

THE Yavusa Matanikutu of Tamavua Village is set to bring change to the Tamavua area following a groundbreaking ceremony for an 11-acre, multi-million dollar business park development.

The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Blue Horizon Property Group and Public Building Solutions which is expected to be the Ɲrst mixed-use retail and office facility.

Blue Horizon Property Group general manager Mark Acraman said civil works for Tamavua Central were scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of the year and were expected to be completed by 2027.

He said the development had already garnered considerable interest from an array of prospective tenants, including businesses, local residents, expatriates, and embassies.

He added that it reƞected its broad appeal and potential to become the central community hub of the Tamavua area.

“We are excited to be part of this mixed-use business park project that promises to bring landowners into the mainstream economy,” said Mr Acraman.

It will generate more employment opportunities, downstream business opportunities, and rental income from co-operative and retail tenants.

This project will not only enhance the local infrastructure but also contribute signiƝcantly to the Suva GDP and tax base and provide unparalleled opportunities for businesses and residents alike.”
