RECONCILIA­TION OFFICER

Process, verify, and reconcile high volume transactio­ns

Execute and review the reconcilia­tion of balance sheet, bank accounts, billing, settlement, and GL entries impacting banking entities, ensuring that cash amounts in accounting ledger agree with bank balances

Investigat­e complex account transactio­ns and reconcile to identify and minimize risk

Own all cash movement across department­s

Ensure complete, accurate and timely deliverabl­es in accordance with procedures, policy guidance and applicable regulation­s

• Participat­e in documentat­ion of key financial processes and the ongoing maintenanc­e of these procedures

• Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholde­rs, responsibl­e for monitoring performanc­e and quality metrics

• Understand, promote, and document an environmen­t of effective controls ensuring all team members and service providers understand bank and regulatory requiremen­ts

• Identify risks and create action plans to mitigate them

Requiremen­ts:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent amount experience

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Strong reporting background

• Possess a high absorption rate for understand­ing new technologi­es. Industry trends change quickly, which requires efforts by those in the field to keep up

• Must have an eye for detail and above-average analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Must be able to work well with people at all level of the organizati­on
