HOTEC is not just an event for product manufacturers and suppliers to preview products and services. But a catalyst for longstanding industry relationships.

It is one of the largest trade event for trade and hospitality to be held from November 7 to 8 at the Sheraton Fiji Resort on Denarau.

Thirty five booths have been targeted this year for domestic and international exhibitors.

“The event is an unparalleled opportunity for local and international business people in the hospitality, equipment, food and beverage, food service, and packaging industries to scope local markets, establish new trade relationships and broaden their presence within Fiji,” Fiji Hotel Tourism Association chief executive officer Fantasha Lockington said. “We sincerely appreciate our partners that continue to return each year and we are enthusiastic for the partnerships that will be renewed and forged over the course of the two days.” This year marks the 16th HOTEC event, which was first held in 2003. Parallel events to the trade exhibition will feature workshops, training updates and competitions such as barista, bed making and napkin folding sponsored by Fiji Coffee and Courts Fiji Limited respectively.

“HOTEC is a catalyst for growing opportunities between suppliers and over 200 industry buyers whose core businesses include import, wholesale, retail, and hotel and resort operations. “We are committed to facilitating networking and business opportunities for our local and international exhibiting suppliers as well as our local hoteliers and industry visitors through an interactive exhibition and dynamic programme of social events,” Ms Lockington said.
