With the addition of exclusive European clothing and even greater selection in footwear, The Shoe Box has outgrown its home in the Tecumseh Plaza. Owner Claudine Thibodeau will be relocating the boutique to a larger unit within the same shopping centre in the spring.

Since 1989, the independent businesswoman has been catering to women, both local and around the world, who want to explore their style with different lines of footwear and accessories. This relocation will allow Claudine to carry an even wider selection of exclusive brands, such as Ugg, Aquatalia, Frye, Geox, and more.

“Shopping is more than just picking out an outfit, it should bean experience. With this new opportunity, we’ll be able to bring a fresh experience of indulging in experimenting with your style, along with even more variations of the same quality and fashion our customers have been coming back for for years,” Claudine promises.

Claudine believes that style is an integral part of every woman’s identity, and warm winter layers shouldn’t silence it. The Shoe Box brings a European flare to our streets with the German imported ski line Sportalm. Sportalm’s elasticated fabrics move with ease around the shops and slopes. Whether you’re a seasoned skiier, or just starting on the bunny hills, Sport al m’ s styles will make sure you look good doing it.

Every woman is multi dimensional. Recognizing this, the footwear specialist has brought in shoes and boots for every situation our local super women encounter this season.

With its luxurious and sleek styles imported from Italy, some people may be surprised that Aquatalia is weatherproof as well. Flat, riding, hiker and high-heeled boots of Murano suede, leather and other fine, durable materials, rubber soles and toasty linings make them ideal for Canadian winters.

A blast from the past that has evolved with modern style, Cougar Shoes guarantees its Canadianmade boots will keep customers’ feet dry. Sturdy gripping soles provide security on icy surfaces while cool, casual designs add true north style.

UGG Australia’s new collection of pre-treated suede heeled boots with soft sheepskin lining let feet breathe and stay at the perfect temperature, indoors and out. The Shoe Box also stocks UGG slippers, a revelation in cozy footwear.

Men shop The Shoe Box as well. The American Frye Company puts great detail and craftsman ship into its casual and dress boots and shoes for men and women.

NAOT has made it fashionable to walk in comfort. Men’s and women’s shoes and boots have a natural cork foot bed that moulds to the wear er’ s foot for ergonomic support.

Women who like to stand out appreciate House of Harlow 1960’s head-turning designs by celebrity fashionista Nicole Ritchie.

“We are so thankful for our loyal customers who have been coming back for years ,” Th ibo de au says ,“it’ s our pleasure to give back by keeping you updated on the latest styles and dressing you from head to toe.”
