Begin your weekend with musical theatre and jazz. Then, rest up for some funk and fairy tales! Here are some interestin­g options for your last weekend in April.

Autopilot: Churc House presents the indie alternativ­e rock band from Saskatoon on tour promoting its latest creation, Diamond Rough. George Benson: Windsor’s Speakeasy Quartet with special guest Marcus Belgrave salutes “Detroit’s Gentleman of the Saxophone” George Benson at 85 years of age Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Mackenzie Hall, 3277 Sandwich St. W. The History of Funk: 4th Wall Music presents this event featuring Windsor funk band Huladog. Band members will play and discuss the history of music and musicians and they will demystify the music of funk masters Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Miles Davis and more. Pest Fest: Phog Lounge hosts Pest Fest with Artz N’ Craftz, James O-L, Eddie Phouth, Bedsweater­s, Travis Reitsma, Woso Cross, Chris Garant, Ana Kuzmic, Chris Crossroads and Raz Banada performing at 9 p.m. and a special screening of the musical documentar­y The Devil and Daniel Johnston at midnight, Saturday at Phog Lounge, 157 University Ave. W.
